Loyalty is rare. If you find it, keep it.

Loyalty. It's a word that carries weight. A bond that is tempered by love. In a world where instant gratification reign supreme, loyalty is a a precious commodity that's becoming increasingly hard to find. But when we do find it, we must guard it with our life. For loyalty is not something to be taken lightly. It is the bedrock upon which holds friendships and families together. Loyalty is the fuel that keeps relationships firing on all cylinders. In a world where people come and go like the wind, those who remain by our side through thick and thin are the ones worth keeping. So, hold on to our loyal ones, for they are worth their weight in gold. Think of loyalty as a compass. In a world where everyone seems to have their own agenda, it's easy to lose sight of who we are and what we stand for. But those who are loyal to us, who stick by our side through good times and bad, are like the North Star, guiding us back to ourself. So, lets us cherish our loyal friends, family,

Philippians is known as the happiest book in the Bible, yet it was written in prison.

Moral of the story: don’t let your circumstances steal your joy. It's easy to think that joy is dependent on our circumstances. That our happiness is tied to our possessions. But the book of Philippians, widely regarded as the happiest book in the Bible, offers a different perspective. Paul, the author of this book, was locked up, but his heart was free. Even from behind bars, his joy shone bright, proving that real happiness comes not from our circumstances, but from the strength of our faith. So, when life throws us into the pits, remember to look up and find joy in the Lord. As we read Philippians, we see that Paul's joy was rooted in his relationship with God and his purpose in life. He knew that his struggles were part of a greater plan, and he trusted in God's sovereignty. When we allow our joy to be dependent on external circumstances, we give power to those circumstances. But when we anchor our joy in God, we are resilient in the face of life's ups and downs. So

When people call you all types of things open your Bible to see what God calls you 😍

When the world tries to label you, remember this: God calls you His child, His beloved, His friend. When you open your Bible, you discover the truth of who you are in God's eyes. You are not defined by your mistakes nor your past. You are defined by the love, grace, and mercy of a God who knows you intimately. He created you and He has a plan for your life. When you turn to God's word, you find a beautiful picture of who you are meant to be. You are a light in the darkness. You are not defined by your failures, but by your faith. The world may try to knock you down, but the Word of God lifts you up. When the labels start to stick, remember: You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are a child of God, chosen and beloved. Open the Bible and let the truth set you free. When people try to define you, remember that only God knows your true identity. Turn to his Word and let it guide you to your true self. Because in the end, it's not about what others call you. It's abo

Humility and self-denial can lead you to healing and spiritual maturity.

When we learn to put aside our pride and live in service to others, we open ourselves up to a deeper level of healing and spiritual maturity. Humility allows us to see the world from a different perspective, to value others' opinions and to learn from our mistakes. When we embrace humility, we become more receptive to the lessons life is trying to teach us. In addition to its power to heal, humility leads us to a place of self-awareness. It encourages us to be honest with ourselves about our strengths and weaknesses, and to learn to forgive our shortcomings. Self-denial, on the other hand, requires us to let go of our desires for recognition. This is not an easy task, as our culture often glorifies self-indulgence. When we embrace humility and self-denial, we open ourselves up to a deeper level of healing and spiritual maturity. We learn to live with gratitude for what we have, and to focus on the things that truly matter in life. Humility and self-denial are not easy paths to wa

May we seek Him in all seasons of life, for He is the anchor that steadies us in the storms, the light that illuminates our path, and the source of endless love and joy. Seek Him always, and we will find the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Our Little MiracElle Turns One

Image
I am bursting with joy as we celebrate the life of our beautiful daughter, Maria Emmanuelle. As she turned one recently, I am filled with immense gratitude to God for this wonderful miracle that we have been blessed with. Truly, God is with us! It has been a dream-come-true journey for us, watching her grow from a tiny bundle of joy to a bubbly, curious toddler. The road has been sort of magical, filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. This miraculous journey began the moment my husband and I first found out that we were expecting. It was a moment filled with equal parts excitement, awe, and nervousness as we enter a new chapter of our lives. The months that followed were a whirlwind of doctor's appointments, baby stuff hoarding, and countless conversations about parenthood. With each kick and movement, we fell more and more in love with our little one, even before she made her grand entrance into the world. After a year of firsts, from her first smile to her first

God is Bigger than My Sins

Image
I feel heaviness in my chest when I feel guilty and I physically feel exhausted everyday when I sin. I cry and I can’t seem to hold a conversation or even start one with Him for that matter. I feel like I’ve messed up too much that there’s no turning back.  However, God is much BIGGER than my sins. He uses instruments for me to talk to Him again. He uses people to make me feel loved by Him. There’s no such thing as "messed up too much that there's no turning back." God loves us and He is so forgiving. It's so easy to talk to Him. Let us start talking to Him by saying "I need you Lord" and it should be so much easier after that.

Choice

May nagsabi sa'kin, having no choice is still a choice. Read it again. The notion that having no choice is still a choice suggests that even in the absence of desirable options, we maintain the power to decide how we adapt to the circumstances. This perspective empowers us to actively shape our experiences rather than passively resigning to our perceived limitations. In essence, choice is not merely about selecting from a predefined set of options. It also encompasses the ability to choose our attitude in the face of adversity. Even when confronted with seemingly impossible situations, we can choose to respond with determination. Furthermore, recognizing that having no choice is still a choice can inspire us to question our assumptions and explore alternative perspectives. By breaking free from the constraints of conventional thinking, we open ourselves up to new opportunities and possibilities. In conclusion, embracing the idea that having no choice is still a choice invites us to

Mother’s Day 🤍

Image
Being a mother is a unique journey filled with laughter, challenges, and immense love.  Reflecting on my own experiences, I have grown to appreciate the resilience of mothers everywhere.  One of the biggest hardships I have faced as a mother is balancing my responsibilities. Striving to be the best mother, wife, and professional can sometimes feel like an impossible task. There have been days when I felt overwhelmed, unsure if I could manage everything life was throwing at me. In those moments, I found peace in the support of my family and friends, who helped me realize that I didn't have to go through this journey alone. Another challenge I encountered was learning to put my daughter’s needs above my own. As a mother, it is important to prioritize the well-being of our child, even when it requires sacrifice. I remember the sleepless nights when I stayed awake, tending to my baby’s needs, and the countless times I chose to pursue my dreams later to ensure that I witness every mil

Accepting Life’s Challenges

As human beings, we often face obstacles that test our determination. It's crucial to remind ourselves of the power that comes with adapting to these challenges. Let us delve into the transformative impact of exploring how shifting our mindset can lead to resilience. First, accepting our struggles is essential. By facing our challenges head-on, we can better identify areas for growth. Accepting adversity allows us to learning from our experiences, rather than resisting the situation. Viewing challenges as opportunities for growth empowers us to find meaning in difficult situations. This shift in mindset helps us to identify the blessings that often accompany adversity, enabling us to cultivate resilience. Growth in mindset is another key element in overcoming life's challenges. Believing that our intelligence can be developed through hard work, equips us with the tools necessary to confront adversity with perseverance. Recognizing the value in our efforts and celebrating our pr

The Art of Letting Go of Overthinking

In a world that constantly pushes us to think for the future, it's easy to fall into the trap of overthinking. While it's essential to be thoughtful about our choices, dwelling on our thoughts can prevent us from experiencing the fulfillment that comes with taking action. Here are some thoughts to help us to let go of overthinking and pursuing the things that bring us joy. The Power of Intuition Often, our instincts can guide us toward what makes us happy. By trusting our gut, we open ourselves up to new opportunities that can enrich our lives. When we spend too much time thinking about the "what-ifs," we risk missing out on the joy that comes with embracing the present moment. Finding Balance It's important to strike a balance between being mindful of our decisions and allowing ourselves to indulge in life's simple pleasures. By allocating specific times for reflection, we can better distinguish between necessary thoughtfulness and excessive overthinkin

Keep the Faith

I am capable, I am creative, I am worthy and I am far stronger than I think I am.  It’s important to remind ourselves of the innate strengths that reside within. Each of us possesses a unique set of capabilities, creativity, and resilience that often go unrecognized in the face of life's challenges .  Embracing these qualities and acknowledging the value they bring can have a profound impact on our self-esteem and overall outlook on life. Belief in oneself is a powerful force that can propel us forward even in the most trying times. It fuels our determination to overcome obstacles and serves as a reminder that we are more than capable of achieving our goals. This faith in our abilities, combined with the strength gained from past experiences, builds a solid foundation for navigating the path ahead. As we forge our way through life's trials and tribulations, it's crucial to celebrate the milestones we've reached thus far. Whether big or small, these accomplishments are a
