The Pursuit of Happiness: A Two-Step Guide to Living Your Best Life

Life is a journey filled with ups and downs, and it is important to prioritize our happiness to make the most out of it.  They say that happiness is a journey, not a destination. But what if the journey itself is full of roadblocks and dead ends? How do we find our way to happiness in a world that seems to conspire against it? Thr secret lies in two simple rules. Rule #1: Do what makes YOU happy. Rule #2: When what you do makes you happy without hurting anyone, don't worry about what others think. As Confucius once said, 'Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.' In a world that constantly bombards us with distractions, it's easy to lose sight of what truly brings us joy. But remember, happiness is like a pair of flip flops: comfortable, carefree, and always within reach if you know where to look. He can provide us with the necessary wisdom to fulfill His purposes. The story of Moses is a perfect example of this. Forget about qualifications, it's all about availability! If we’re willing to lend our time and talents to the Lord, He can take us from amateur hour to His all-star team. Just like Moses—he started as a shepherd and ended up leading the Israelites out of Egypt. It’s all about a career switch! Let us get in the game, and He'll do the ...

Magic in Teaching

Image
The saying 'Tell me and I'll know, teach me and I'll remember, involve me and I'll learn' emphasizes the importance of experiential learning. Hearing or reading information is a passive form of learning that may only result in temporary understanding. By contrast, active learning through teaching, practice, and experience can lead to deeper understanding and retention of knowledge. Involving students in hands-on learning activities allows them to apply knowledge and skills, making the learning process more engaging and effective. Think about it: 'tell' is a fleeting memory, 'teach' sticks around for a while, but 'involve' makes learning last a lifetime. The secret sauce to deep, lasting knowledge isn't just hearing or reading, it's getting in there, hands-on, making mistakes and learning from them. That's when you really start cooking with gas! So remember, for knowledge that sticks, don't just hear or read, get involved and...
