THEOLOGY OF THE BODY -Study of God reveals Himself through the human body -Body reveals God As human being, we are embodied persons *In God's creation, only humans have soul. Accg. to St.John Paul II, our body is a sacrament. What we do in our body, affects who we are. What we do in others, affects who we are. We are created in the image and likeness of God. Sacrament is a visible sign of an invisible reality If we are created in the likeness of God, who is God? 1. God is trinity: The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. 2. God is love: LOVE is willing the good of the other. For love to exist, there should be a LOVER ➡️ LOVE ➡️ BELOVED ; FATHER➡️ HOLY SPIRIT ➡️SON  *Love is not just one-sided. Love should be exchanged. Love doesn't exist as solitude it's always a relationship. *we are destined na mahalin at magmahal. We are created for love and to be loved. We image God by being male and female.
