-Study of God reveals Himself through the human body
-Body reveals God

As human being, we are embodied persons

*In God's creation, only humans have soul.

Accg. to St.John Paul II, our body is a sacrament.
What we do in our body, affects who we are. What we do in others, affects who we are. We are created in the image and likeness of God.

Sacrament is a visible sign of an invisible reality

If we are created in the likeness of God, who is God?
1. God is trinity: The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.

2. God is love: LOVE is willing the good of the other.
For love to exist, there should be a
LOVER ➡️ LOVE ➡️ BELOVED ;
FATHER➡️ HOLY SPIRIT ➡️SON




 *Love is not just one-sided. Love should be exchanged. Love doesn't exist as solitude it's always a relationship.

*we are destined na mahalin at magmahal. We are created for love and to be loved.

We image God by being male and female. We see the eternal exchange of love through men and women.

MARRIAGE

This is the trinitarian kind of love.

Father's love is fruitful, total and self-giving love.

*Body is not just biological, it is also theological.
*Our body is meant for UNION

*We experience eternal extent through the holy mass, the Communion


We are called to be a GIFT to the others.


Marital love is meant to express the love of Christ.
- a one flesh union of a husband and wife is the invisible reality of Christ. Simply, this is the love of Christ.

What kind of love does Jesus have?
1. Free - not His will, but God's will
2. Total- his love is full and everything
3. Faithful - even if everyone is not
4. Fruitful- gives life

-Sex is the wedding vows made flesh
-it is the love freely, totally, faithfully and fruitfully

-God made man and woman to be His co-creator.

CHASTITY

CHASTITY is a firm habit of doing what is good, that orients our sexual desire.


Sexual desire is not a sin. It is a gift. It honors the Lord. However, if we abuse it, it becomes lust. Lust breaks the love.

DATING

Tips in dating
1. Dont be afraid of being inlove
2. Be secure in yourself
3. Before you date, know what you want in a future spouse
4. Grown in self-mastery
