• The "21st century skills" is an artificial concept that can't be separated out from subject-are knowledge and instruction
• Educators should use in-school time to teach students how to find, interpret, and use information, rather than using most or all of the time to present information
• It is working with colleagues to ensure that all students master the skills they need to succeed s lifelong learners, workers, and citizens
