Tied a Knot

Image
To the person who stayed with me even at my worst, thank you. 🥺 3 months ago, Paolo and I had our covenant in front of our God and it was witnessed by our loved ones. I can’t  believe how lucky I am to be married to my best friend. 🥰 We’ve waited for 8 years so we can officially become each other’s home. We can now travel together, eat out more, go home late, sleep on each other's arms, and do whatever we want to do without restrictions.  I am forever grateful to God that He has brought an unbelievable person into my life. I feel very blessed that I tied a knot to my favorite person in the world. We have had an extremely challenging years together yet he has been a rock throughout.  I have been dreaming about this, and everything is gradually turning to reality.  I am forever thankful to our family and friends who have been our supporters and prayer warriors. No words can express how thankful we are to you. We love you so much. May all the love and happiness you gi...

Meeting You was a Blessing

Image
Meeting you was definitely a blessing from above. Our love story was a rocky road, but every time I try to look back, I feel so overwhelmed with the adventures and learnings we have encountered and experienced. Those struggles and trials that we’ve surpassed molded us to be stronger together and grow our faith to God. I will be forever grateful having you in my life.  Anyone can come into your life and say how much they love you but it takes someone really special to stay in your life and show how much they love you.  I am looking forward to the next chapter of our love story. I love you! ♥️

An Open Letter to My Online Parents and Students

This day comes the end of our academic year, ‘20-‘21 through online schooling. I learned a lot because of this experience and I am forever grateful for God gave me people who helped me overcome a lot of challenges.  Allow me to give an open letter to my students and their parents. 🥰 To my dear students,  Online schooling was not easy for you, my little ones, yet you’ve made it here to the finish line. Fly high my babies! Please continue to make your parents proud and honor your God always for all your success in life.  ✨ To my loving parents, This pandemic has caused us a lot of traumas. Starting from adjusting to a new lifestyle, increased level of anxiety, isolating yourself from everyone, trying your best to survive each day, different family treatment, and all of the possible ways this quarantine has affected us. Yet you’ve become brave for your children and you stood up for them. I salute you for that, you don’t know how fortunate your children are to have parents/g...

25 lessons that I've Learned in the Years of my Existence

I have been writing this piece since day 1 of this year (2020). This year marks the 25th year of my life and If I were to choose between restarting it again or continue what is present, I would prefer to keep the present. This is the product of my journey; my fall and my victory. I am greatly proud of who I am and what I have. Yet this does not mean that I will stop yearning. Every day, I opt to go beyond boarders, grow more, and fulfill my dreams to the fullest. Let us go to the gist of this piece. For the past 25 years of my life, I have had experienced trials and triumphs that completed my pride and being. And I would like to share with you the  25 lessons that I’ve learned in the years of my existence.   1. Beauty fades but character does not. Life tells us that no matter how beautiful our hair, skin color, and body are, everything will change just our age. At the end of the day, it is our character that will stay the same. We can be beautiful in our own way. We are what w...

Labels are for Cans Only (An Opinion)

https://youtu.be/c1Xh6ykn43E This video ☝️ speaks a powerful message. As a result, I realize that people nowadays tend to stereotype without further recognizing the variations within a group. We actually do not really know each other, we just see want we want to see in which. Therefore, there maybe harmful effects if we dwell on generalizing people such as having miscommunications, being labeled as racists and worse, a start of hostility. As an eye-opener to these negative situations, this given advertisement unmasked us the resentment that we feel from being judged by many. Thus, instead of labeling other people, let us replace it with understaning and acceptance, for we don't deserve to be labeled we deserve to be loved for who we are and who we want to be.
